BRANDT NEWS

Creation of a new student magazine at the Willy-Brandt-Schule.

Give young people a voice. Provide them with a platform on which they can present, discuss and transport their topics and concerns. To open up the ways on which they can make use of their right to participate - these are the aims of the newly founded student's newspaper, which is now to be established and expanded step by step. We are pleased to present the first edition of BRANDT NEWS, Summer 2017. (German language).

BRANDT NEWS | First edition, Summer 2017

The BRANDT NEWS first edition is a project within our program:

FUTURE KIDS

In our program FUTURE KIDS we initiate projects, together with partners of the educational sector, to give the voices of young people more power and range. Our aim is to work effectively and sustainable in the area of democracy education as well as children's and human rights. The spectrum of our activities in this program is ranging from art & (children's-) human rights projects to the creation of a student magazine. More information about FUTURE KIDS can be found HERE.

HOME

School newspaper project together with young refugees.

What thoughts and feelings do they associate with the subject of home? Are they homesick and how do they deal with it? How do they look at the home they have left? Can Germany become a new home for them? Here, they give us an insight into what home means to them.

The second newspaper of our student magazine (german language) is online now.

DONATE

More than ever, we see an independent action as a basic prerequisite for successfully continuing our work. For that we need your support!

Any donation that reaches us is a valuable support and helps us in many ways. It serves us as an important feedback that resonates our concerns, it supports to build a network of people who feel connected to our aims, and enables us to run our projects independently of the subsidized mainstream.
